Aloha!

My name is Selah, pronounced see-lah, and I am so happy you’re here! I am a soon-to-be graduate of the last class ever to receive a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Arizona. Although our program has been cut, I am ever grateful for all the opportunities and blessings this school has given me.

I was born and raised on the island of O’ahu, Hawai’i and it will always be something I have so much pride in. The power of my culture and background continues to shape the way I move through the world— in my artistry, work ethic, and the stories I’m drawn to tell.

I started performing theatre when I was nine and immediately felt drawn to the craft. I couldn’t believe that I discovered an art where I could do all three of the things I love most: dancing, singing, and acting. Dancing was my first love, but the other two quickly fell into place once I found theatre.

Some of my favorite things to do outside of performing are sunbathing/going to the beach, finding new hiking trails, binging a trashy reality tv show, and chasing down my next favorite bite.
